North Star has been retained by an IT Services, IT Support & Reseller firm based in Scotland to recruit IT Sales professionals as the firm continues to grow inline with its plans for 2018/19.

Our client is a financially-secure business, working with best-in-class technology partners including HP (Gold Partner), Dell, Microsoft (Preferred Partner), Cisco(Preferred Partner), Salesforce, Oracle and Sage and other OEM / Vendors.

To be considered for this Scottish success story, you must be able to show new business sales and account management experience in IT hardware (including desktops/laptops/peripherals/telecoms/servers etc), business software and / or* IT services*. You may be at a Reseller or VAR and are looking to join a growing business where there will be real career opportunities for progression as well as excellent earning potential.

As part of a friendly, motivated and professional team, you will be responsible for:-

  • lead generation including use of CRM / database
  • following-up in-bound leads and opportunities
  • cold calls to decision makers and influencers
  • keep-in-touch calls
  • client pitches (face-to-face)
  • Pre-sales assisted by a technical expert
  • vendor liaison and negotiation
  • contract reviews
  • gathering prices and information for customer requirements
  • writing tenders and proposals
  • understand how to build a sales pipeline working towards £10,000 GP pcm by the end of year one
