North Star Enterprise recruit experienced credit professionals, including Credit Risk Officers and Lending Managers. We are recruiting for a CO to join a truly disruptive Fintech in Edinburgh.

The job involves working with corporate customers, providing analysis and evaluation in order to reduce credit risk and underwriting throughout the on-boarding process. Extracting data from a variety of sources, you will use it to build simple to complex financial models that predict risk exposure. You’ll prepare performance reports for management and clients to assess and mitigate significant competitive, regulatory and technological threats.

The Deliverables

  • Perform credit risk analysis, driving insights and developing strategies
  • Run and report analytics behind the full customer lifecycle
  • Analyse current strategies and work to develop further data insights that support these models
  • Work with stakeholders to improve strategies
  • Compile, assess and report risk information to the Company
  • Help our clients comply with relevant legislation, regulation and best practices
  • Establish and develop credit, collection and fraud best practice
  • Develop risk management and scorecard analytics
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines
  • Provide support to customers on identification of potential delinquent, non-performing and charged-off loans
  • Develop, manage and refine qualitative and quantitative risk reporting which meets the needs of our customers, in order to support effective decision making
